PRESIDENT

Ishak is a supervisor in the “Asbestos Maintenance Technical Unit” of the Los Angeles Unified School District. He was born in Sarawak and currently lives in Long Beach with his wife and 2 children. Ishak has been a resident of southern California since 1982.




Fauzi Zainal
VICE PRESIDENT

Fauzi Zainal is Engineering Director at Henkel Inc.  His family is originally from Johor but he was born in Selangor.   He currently lives in Rancho Cucamonga with his wife and two daughters. He has been a resident of southern California since 2001.

Ismail Talib
SECRETARY

Ismail was the Vice President/GM of Malaysia Airlines for the Americas in the late 1990s.  He now runs his own travel agency. He currently lives in Rancho Palos Verdes with his wife and daughter. He has been a resident of southern California since 1997.

Rina Faisal
TREASURER

Rina lives in Rancho Cucamonga with her husband and two daughters.  She is a full time housewife and volunteers at her childrens’ school.  She is originally from Kuala Lumpur, but has been living in southern California since 2001.

Norizah (Nor) Sharif

Nor is the Assistant to the Director of Articulation at California State University in Long Beach. She was born and raised in Johor Bahru and now lives with her husband and 2 children in Long Beach. Nor has been a resident of southern California since 1988.

Dr. Hasnah Hamdan
DIRECTOR, Public Affairs and Communications

Hasnah is  Scientific Director of the Molecular Microbiology Lab at Quest Diagnostics, Nichols Institute in San Juan Capistrano, CA.  She is originally from Muar, Johor and is an 'old girl' of Tunku Kurshiah College (TKC) in Seremban.  Hasnah currently lives in Riverside with her husband and son.  She has been a resident of southern California since 1991.

Puan Nor Hayati binti Daud
MSD officer

Puan Yati has been an educator for 25 years, teaching mainly Mathematics. She moved to Kementerian Pengajian Tinggi in December 2006 in the Department of Student Affairs.  She is a graduate from Universiti Utara Malaysia and received her Masters from Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris.
